Viral Date Bark

I’m sure you have seen the viral date bark recipe which has taken over the internet.

To all my pregnant Mumma’s or sweet tooth lovers out there this one’s for you.

Studies have shown eating 6 dates per day for 4 weeks prior to your due date softens the cervix, preparing the body for labour. Meaning a significantly lower rate of needing to be induced and shorter labour times. It’s a yes from me!

On a lined baking tray I mashed a small punnet of organic medjool dates together with a fork, poured over some melted high protein seeded peanut butter (any natural peanut butter will do), then pour over melted dark chocolate. Topped with edible flowers & salt flakes.

Pop it in the freezer until hardened, store in an airtight container in the fridge YUM!
